To dream,
to live, to create.

镜头看,心感受,画笔来表达

ARTICAUSE is where a photograph becomes a painting. An independent art studio and curatorial house presenting mixed-media exhibitions, and the Singapore–China art exchange that carries our work across borders.

Drag to watch a photograph
become a painting.

Our flagship practice pairs a photographer's eye with a painter's hand. The same subject, Singapore's National Gallery, first seen through the lens, then re-imagined in watercolour. Drag the divider.

The idea

Art is a universal language. We broaden horizons and curate new experiences — for everyone, across every border.

ARTICAUSE grew out of Artibox — 颜料 · 画材 · 画具的盒子, a box of paints, materials and tools — and the belief that everyone carries a light within them that art can bring out.

Today the studio curates mixed-media exhibitions in photography, acrylic and ceramic-panel painting, and builds bridges between the art communities of Singapore and China.

Through Lenses — Ceramic

Our next exchange takes the lens-to-canvas idea onto fired ceramic panels: photographs of place, re-painted in mineral glaze and kiln-set for good. A cross-border show developed with artists from Singapore and China.
